Suits season 9 episode 1 sneak peek: Samantha and Harvey’s scramble
In the new sneak peek released via USA (see below), you can see Gabriel Macht and Katherine Heigl’s characters doing everything within their power to ensure that they hold onto some of the clients that were previously attached to Robert Zane. It’s too bad that his departure, plus the circumstances around it, are making all of these people more than a little nervous to stick around the firm. Their inclination instead is to push in another direction … one that involves a less controversial institution having their back.

Harvey and Samantha quickly find themselves confused in this scene, mostly as they try to figure out why they’re stuck dealing with much of what they are … and also who could have been responsible for sending out a signal flare of trouble so early in the first place. At the time in which some of these problems began, Daniel Hardman was still trying to get Harvey disbarred; it actually wasn’t him leading the charge, even if it is easy sometimes to go ahead and throw some of the blame in his direction. Instead, it seems to be none other than Eric Kaldor who is the responsible party.
So what can you do about Kaldor? You can try to fight back, or at the very least, try to flex enough muscles to show that you’re not afraid and you’re going to get right in the trenches with him. He’s not the sort of opponent who is going to back down easy and even if he goes away, another threat is going to remain. We’re speaking here a little more about Faye Richardson, a new character from the New York Bar who may present a lot of trouble for Harvey’s future.
