‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6 spoilers: Bernadette spreads a disease

Howard Wolowitz is finally set to return from space on Thursday night’s new episode of “The Big Bang Theory,” and when it comes to him and Bernadette, they may have been saving for us quite possibly one of the greatest scenes ever on the show until this week.

In the video below, you can get a sense of what we are talking about. With Howard being gone for as long as he has been, it only makes sense for Bernadette to want to engage with him in a little bit of a night of passion. However, this is made much more difficult when she is as sick as sick can be, and can hardly really even look at him without some variation of snot running down her face. Melissa Rauch completely and totally steals this scene; not only does she have to play a character on this show already that is not her real voice, but she creates a voice within a voice in order to make sick Bernadette into someone who is slightly insane and completely disgusting.

While these two are getting to know each other again on a physical level (or at least what that means based on this sneak peek), we are going to see elsewhere in this episode the men and the women square off in a sort of “battle of the sexes” scenario. This may also be one of the final reprieves for Stuart the comic book store owner, who has in many ways taken over Howard’s role of Raj’s best friend with him gone. We are sure that a stand-off here is coming, and there will surely be some serious jealousy on Howard’s part.
