Jersey Shore Family Vacation Part 3 trailer: Mike’s wedding and more

Thursday, July 11th is a day that many Jersey Shore fans should hold on to. After all, that is when the premiere of Jersey Shore Family Vacation Part 3 is going to actually air on MTV. We’ve had most of these people in our lives now for a good ten years, and obviously, they’ve changed a lot from where they were in the early days. Multiple cast members are married, many of them are parents, and they are experiencing highs and lows that are very much different from the sort they were going through many years back.

In the latest trailer that was released (one that you can see over here), you get a sense as to what many of these said highs and lows really are. There’s no better example of this than with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino. We knew moving into part 3 that we were going to have a chance to see him get married, but on the other side of that, there was something very serious and sad waiting for him. At this very moment in time, he is in the middle of a prison sentence over a tax case that has been going on for many years. The filming for this season seems to have taken place leading up to him going behind bars, so it remains to be seen how much of that we’re going to see of the rest of the cast on the other side. Much of the story of this season seems to revolve around everything that transpired beforehand, and some of the struggles that went along with it. You will have a chance to see Mike and Lauren say “I do,” and hopefully that will be enough joy to make up for some of the sadder moments that are coming.

After all, we know that there are certainly plenty of tear-jerkers that will be coming if you love some of these people. Take, for example, Jenni going through a divorce and Ronnie continuing to have all the problems in his personal life that you’ve come to expect at this point. This may end up being one of the most emotional Jersey Shore seasons that we’ve had a chance to see so far, and it’s not something that we think is going to slow down all that much moving forward. It’s life! Unfortunately, it just isn’t exactly rosy all the time and it doesn’t matter if you are a normal person or a reality TV star with a good bit of money in the bank.

One thing that is going to be particularly interesting for us is seeing how the filming timeline for this lines up with the filming timeline for A Double Shot at Love, which is currently airing on MTV. It seems as though both shows were filmed this past fall, so it remains unclear just when certain events took place or if we’re going to see whoever Pauly and Vinny chose on Jersey Shore proper.
