Good Witch season 5 episode 4 preview: Story of ‘The Prince’

Are you prepared for Good Witch season 5 episode 4 to arrive on Hallmark next week? While we know that we’ve gotten plenty of romance as of late — after all, this past installment revolved around a honeymoon — there could be more coming up! The next episode is entitled “The Prince,” and Cassie could have some guests who end up developing feelings for each other. Yet, and as is often the case in life, there is a twist that could end up entering the picture and causing a little bit of unfortunate chaos.

How unfortunate? Well, we don’t think it’s anything that could ruin a relationship before it even starts! The thing with a show like Good Witch is that it’s benevolent at heart — even if we’ve all been brought up to think things a little bit more nefarious when it comes to witches. If you’ve watched this show for long enough already, then you probably feel the meaning is different already. With the honeymoon over, the show’s going to revert more back to normal within this episode … or at least however normal a show entitled Good Witch can really be.

Cassie plays host to Henry, a dashing stranger, and Olivia, a visiting poet; the two quickly fall for each other., but a revelation about Henry’s true identity could throw a wrench in their burgeoning relationship. Abigail and Donovan squabble.

Where is the fun going to come within this episode? We’d argue that at least some of it will come via the opportunity to properly see Cassie work to potentially help Henry and Olivia. Beyond that, we’re also hoping that there’s an opportunity in here to see something beyond just a squabble for Abigail and Donovan, and we’re pretty sure there will be. Shows like this do love to have smaller story arcs included in larger ones. We foresee the two getting over their differences and moving forward into something else — not that we have magic powers of our own. It doesn’t take the ability of a seer to figure out that a show like this would want to produce as much growth and character development as it possibly can. That is the best way to ensure that the series does find a way to keep progressing forward.
