Suits season 9 spoilers: Who is Faye Richardson?
Via a new report coming in right now at Deadline, Star Trek: The Next Generation alum Denise Crosby will be recurring over the final season. Her character’s name is Faye Richardson and while that may not mean a whole lot to you, the character’s importance almost certainly will. She is described as a “no-nonsense representative “from the New York Bar Association. She comes to the firm to deliver a court order, which has serious consequences.”

Basically, this is a character who will be a problem in the world of the firm, which shouldn’t come as a shock given the fact that there is always some sort of problem at the firm. In a lot of ways, we feel like it’d be a little bit weird in the event that there wasn’t some sort of drama when it comes to the firm’s future. To think that the team just got over what happened this past season, a sequence of events that led to the departure of one Robert Zane from the firm. What other reason could someone be there? Well, it’s possible that some events in the early going this season prompt a visit from the New York Bar — it doesn’t seem as though there is some sort of friendly reason for her visit.
Through the end of Suits, we imagine that a lot of the story is going to be around legacy and about everything that the firm has gone through. We know that Harvey, Louis, and Donna have survived a lot since the early days of the show, and that includes multiple attempts to shut down the firm and then having everything go down with Mike. While we think that this is a lighthearted show at times, it’s also one that has proven multiple times over the years that there are consequences to just about every action. It’s a pattern and a part of the series that we don’t imagine will be changing at any time in the near future.
