SEAL Team season 2 episode 21 preview: Where is Ray? A frantic search

Next week, SEAL Team season 2 episode 21 is going to bring you all sorts of drama — and a notable director along with it. “My Life for Yours” was directed by series star David Boreanaz and through this hour, there’s going to be one primary event that is critical: Finding Ray at all costs. The character will turn up missing at the start of the episode and over the course of it, we’ll see the rest of Bravo do what they can, at all costs, in order to find him.

This could be emotionally gripping, difficult, and devastating. It’s at least a chance and an opportunity to be able to see if Ray and Jason can come together after all of the difficult times and moments that they’ve had together. We do think that Ray will want to get back to being the guy that he once was … even if it does take a good bit of time in order to get him there. Maybe this experience will actually allow him to better come to his senses.

Below, CarterMatt offers up the official SEAL Team season 2 episode 21 synopsis, which has a good bit of insight as to what’s coming up next:

“My Life for Yours” – Bravo Team desperately searches for Ray after he gets separated from them while in enemy territory, on SEAL TEAM, Wednesday, May 8 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Series star David Boreanaz directed the episode.

What happens here will carry over to the finale, but what we’re hoping is that in between sifting through the rubble and dealing with the latest onslaught of threats, we see Ray find his way back to Bravo. At the moment, it is very clear that this is precisely where he belongs. It doesn’t matter if stuff is going down with him and Ray. We don’t think that this changes their DNA and everything else that they’ve gone through.

On the other side of episode 21…

Remember that the finale is coming! This is the episode where everything could be on the line and where characters’ futures may be up in the air. Trying to figure out the best story for the writers to unravel for the finale isn’t easy, mostly because there are two options: You can try to come up with an episode that ties up loose ends, or go the other direction and deliver something that is so big and so crazy that it leaves you begging for another season. From a business standpoint, it may be easier to go for the latter than the former, even if it doesn’t seem that way on the surface.
