Is Chicago Fire new tonight on NBC? Season 7 episode 19 details

Chicago Fire season 7

Is Chicago Fire new tonight on NBC? From the rescues to the great characters to some of the show’s trademark firehouse humor, there are very few escapes within the NBC world quite like this show. We embrace everything that it brings whenever we have an opportunity to do so … but we’re not getting a chance in which to do so this week. There is, unfortunately, no new episode tonight, and nor will there be next week, either. The home stretch for Chicago Fire season 7 is going to begin starting on Wednesday, April 24 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time with “Until the Weather Breaks,” a story that is going to be themed around a storm.

Will this storm be factored into what’s happening elsewhere in One Chicago? That’s a good question, but it almost doesn’t need to be if the crews over at Chicago Med and Chicago PD have to stay indoors. The problem for Firehouse 51 is that the vast majority of their world takes place out in the field. People aren’t coming to the firehouse with their problems — they gotta head out and work in order to actively resolve them. That comes with challenges, but ironically, there is one emotional storyline on the next new episode that will actually be finding them. It’s atypical for the show, especially when you think about the specific problem that they’re facing.

For a few specific details, all you gotta do is take a look at the Chicago Fire season 7 episode 19 synopsis below:

04/24/2019 (09:00PM – 10:00PM) (Wednesday) : A horrible storm wreaks havoc on Chicago and impacts Firehouse 51 when the power goes off. A little boy mysteriously shows up at the station and everyone works together to uncover who he belongs to and why he ended up there. Foster and Kidd argue about Severide.

So what are Brett and Stella going to be arguing about? Maybe a part of it has to do with just how much Kelly has changed from the guy he was last year, following the death of Benny. We saw that Severide was able to open up to Emily in a way that he wasn’t some other characters within the house — she had an ability in order to empathize with him and see his heart in a way that others couldn’t. Since Chicago Fire is an ensemble show with a pretty-constant amount of stuff going on, we haven’t really had just an abundance of opportunity to do check-ins and “how are you’s?” with some of these characters on a near-constant basis. This episode may be all we got when it comes to that.
