Jane the Virgin season 5 episode 2 preview: Awkwardness galore
As a matter of fact, for those of you who love all sorts of romantic awkwardness, you get that courtesy of the promo below! It’s simple and short, but it certainly does get the message across.
So what’s coming up beyond just for Jane, Rafael, and Michael? Below, CarterMatt has the official Jane the Virgin season 5 episode 2 synopsis with a few more details:
FEELING GUILTY – With Jane’s (Gina Rodriguez) Catholic guilt starting to settle in, she turns to Alba for advice and gets an unexpected answer. Luisa (guest star Yara Martinez) decides to go see Rose (guest star Bridget Regan) with Rafael (Justin Baldoni) by her side, in order to help get answers. Meanwhile, Rogelio (Jaime Camil) is back to work with River (guest star Brooke Shields), but a power struggle ensues between the two and Xo (Andrea Navedo) might be the solution they have been looking for. Yael Grobglas and Ivonne Coll also star. Gina Lamar directed the episode written by Chantelle M. Wells & Katie Wech (#502).
We have to admit that there’s a sense of freedom that comes with knowing that this is the final season of the show — even if we don’t exactly want it to end, we know that every story from here on out is going to be well thought-out. Every moment will be cultivated in a way in which that matters, largely because the writers want to bring these people all to specific directions. It really doesn’t matter if you’re talking about someone like Rogelio or someone who is a recurring character — they all are a part of the show’s fabric, and they may be one of the biggest reasons you watch. One of the most appealing parts of Jane the Virgin as a whole is the relatability, at least in that there are often ways to see yourself in at least one of the characters. If it’s not Jane, there is a reasonably good chance that it is someone else. Even if it’s nobody, you’ve probably still relished in the chance to have a few laughs.
