‘The Vampire Diaries’ premiere spoilers: A Nina Dobrev surprise

The season 4 premiere of “The Vampire Diaries” is now just one week away, and we are starting to finally get at least a few details about just what we can expect from the show upon its grand return to The CW. Want to know more? All you have to do is read below, but be warned now that the following does contain some pretty major spoilers.

Within the first two episodes, let’s just say that there is going to be quite a bit going on first and foremost between Nina Dobrev’s Elena and both Salvatore brothers. Her scenes with Stefan are almost a given at this point, but what may be a surprise to many is that she also has a few moments with Damon that could certainly qualify as being both rather up close and rather personal … even if they are not necessarily romantic in nature. As if this wasn’t enough, she is also going to have some arguments with some other people on the show within the first two episodes, and it is not as likely that you will see them coming.

As for some other characters, Kat Graham’s Bonnie is going to make an extremely bold move during the premiere, but the unfortunate thing about it is that it could end up having some pretty serious consequences for her and change her stakes for the entire season. Meanwhile, Caroline (Candice Accola) and Tyler (Michael Trevino) are going to be getting frisky early and often, with the real twist here being that Klaus is going to be getting a lot of joy out of this while trapped in her body. When he leaves, is she really going to feel the same way about Tyler since Klaus has been charming her this whole time?
