SEAL Team season 2 episode 15 spoilers: ‘You Only Die Once’

If SEAL Team wanted to get your attention just on the basis of an ominous episode title alone, here’s some news — they’ve got it for you in season 2 episode 15! “You Only Die Once” is airing on Wednesday March 27, making it the second episode following the show’s return from an excruciating hiatus. We’re still going to be getting our legs back at this point, but as with any operation for the SEALs, there’s no real time for that. You really are just thrown in and you gotta find your way on the fly. This mission will be intense — heck, every mission on this show is! There are no storylines here about characters wandering around on patrol. There’s always a struggle, there’s always the fear of death; there are certainly some happy times Bravo Team has, but they just don’t show us them all.

So what makes “You Only Die Once” so special? CBS recently released the full synopsis for it, and CarterMatt highly recommends taking a look below:

“You Only Die Once” – Bravo Team sets out on a special ops mission to take down the financier and mastermind behind several terrorist attacks, on SEAL TEAM, Wednesday, March 27 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The title suggests that there is this sort of enormous, epic danger coming around the corner … and then you get the word “financier.” Typically, these two things are not elements we really associate with each other. If we think of an financier, we usually just think of someone with really bad hair, a pinstripe suit and someone that has extra cash to dump into the production of an indie film  … not so much someone who is looking to fund specific terrorists. Yet, that’s a stereotype of sorts that SEAL Team wants to break. There are dangerous people out there, and most of these people don’t just get bombs and heavily artillery off a tree. Someone is behind it and that kind of specialized stuff cost money. A lot of money. The most dangerous people in the world are the ones who can enable others to be the same way; they can build armies with just opening their bank account.

There may not be too many details within the synopsis, but there’s a reason why Bravo Team is brought in. You know how bad this is.

Within this episode, you will stare in the face of the man or woman behind the cash … and also probably all of the people they have around them. If you can afford to fund terrorists, we’ve got a pretty good feeling that you can afford to hire 12 Jean Claude Van Damme’s to follow you around and protect you. This is gonna be a multi-pronged approach for Bravo Team as they try to hunt this person down before something truly terrible shakes out.
