Madam Secretary season 3 episode 15 spoilers: A possible love connection

Want to get some early insight on Madam Secretary season 3 episode 15? You won’t be seeing this installment for a while (think March 3), but there’s a lot to look forward to. It’s one that should potentially feature a member of Elizabeth McCord’s staff in a romance — or, if they are not, subjected to rumors of a romance. This is probably not the sort of thing that the Secretary of State wants to be dealing with in the midst of everything else that she’s got going on, and for good reason. There a lot of people who could put their focus on something like this, and, because of that, it could take the focus away from policy or some other things that matter.

Of course, Madam Secretary is not the sort of show that is going to give you an episode based just around a possible romance. There are some other wrinkles that you’ll get a chance to experience within this episode, one that should have a number of complicated twists and turns throughout. “Between the Seats” – Elizabeth visits the Middle East to finalize a deal to bring U.S. troops home, but complications arise when a local woman’s life is threatened by rumors of a romance with one of Elizabeth’s staffers. Also, Henry provides relationship advice to Elizabeth’s brother, Will (Eric Stoltz), on MADAM SECRETARY, Sunday, March 3 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

We’re obviously happy to get Stoltz back on the show as an actor — he’s also director, but we like getting to explore the relationship that his character will has with both Bess and then also Henry. It’s interesting that his story, in its own way, is themed around a relationship. Maybe this is one of the biggest romance-focused episodes of the season? It’s possible, though it’s hard to really frame it within the #1 spot because of some of the stuff that happened a little bit earlier this season with Elizabeth’s vow renewal. That’s going to top everything, given that they are the beating heart of the series.

The Middle East military story could be important, just because of the relationship between this and headlines going on in the real world. Whether it is intentional or unintentional, this show does have a rather-great habit of finding ways to tell stories that are an adequate reflection of real life.
