Celebrity Big Brother 2 live feed spoilers: Making sense of Tom’s moves

Come Friday, the latest Celebrity Big Brother 2 episode will be there and in that, we’re going to get a lot of drama courtesy of a Double Eviction. What we didn’t expect is that there would be so much drama beforehand.

Ultimately, it’s been rather hard to track a lot of the live feeds this season because there have been so many cuts — which is a bummer, given that 1) people pay for these and 2) the idea is to get clarity from the feeds. What we know right now is rather simple in that Tom Green won the Veto and because he is also HoH, he has a tremendous amount of power this week. It’s too bad that he is potentially squandering it.

At this point, it’s clear that Tom’s target is Ricky Williams, but he is once again overthinking things and making this game so much harder than it needs to be. What he should be doing is just keeping nominations the same and doing what he can in order to not tick off other people. If he leaves the nominations the same, at least he won’t make anyone angry about anyone other than the people within the three-person Natalie Eva Marie/Lolo Jones/Ricky alliance.

Yet, in a conversation with Kandi Burruss earlier, Tom floated the idea of nominating Lolo and removing Natalie in the hopes of ensuring that Ricky left. That’s a bad move for a couple of different reasons. First, you’re riling up Lolo for little reason. Meanwhile, you’re exposing to the alliance that Natalie is the target of some other players. The only thing worse than this is the idea of Tom potentially putting up Tamar, which Kandi told Tamar about.

We think that the best-case scenario moving forward for Tom is to just let the other players in his alliance eliminate who they want since maybe he can protect himself somewhat for the next Head of Household. In angering some of them, all that could do is make him a little bit more of a universal target. He’s an interesting guy to watch, but there are certainly times this season we wish he would get out of his own way.
