‘Law & Order: SVU’ spoilers: What ‘True Blood’ alum has signed on?
lawWith the new season of “Law & Order: SVU” officially under way, isn’t it time to find out a little bit more information about who is going to be joining the cast?
According to a new report that is coming to us via TV Guide, former “True Blood” star Lindsay Pulsipher is going to be coming on board for an arc this season to play the part of Kim Rollins. Kim is the younger sister of Kelli Giddish’s character, and is set to cause all sorts of trouble for everyone not long after her arrival in town.
For most people, Pulsipher is probably going to be best remembered for playing the part of Crystal the werepanther on season 4 of the HBO drama; however, she does have a library of other roles that include spots on “NCIS,” “Chase,” and the recent Emmy-winning miniseries “Hatfields & McCoys.” Her first appearance is going to be during the November 14 episode of the series, and it is unclear at this very moment just how many episodes she is going to be sticking around for.
When it comes to the “SVU” brand, this could actually turn out to be one of the show’s most-important years ever. After all, we are seeing it continue to transition in its second full season since Christopher Meloni’s departure, and everyone who was present beforehand has seen their role shifted somewhat. The programming at NBC has also changed dramatically since it first aired almost a decade ago, and with lower ratings we are curious just how much longer it can really last.
What do you think about this casting, and are you as excited for some “SVU” action as you once were?
