Blindspot season 4 episode 10 video: What’s happening to Jane?

As you enter Blindspot season 4 episode 10 tonight on NBC, there is clearly some good news and bad. The good news is that Jane is back; however, the bad news is that she is not her normal self just yet. She’s suffering from some lingering headaches and trying to find her way forward. She doesn’t know how to navigate the world after everything that she’s went through as Remi.

The new sneak peek below (via TVLine) is just a tiny example of what the character is going through. For starters, she doesn’t feel as though she deserves special treatment after some of the things that she did as Remi — which are now a part of her, even if she doesn’t want them to be. She recognizes that there was this part of her who, for the better part of this season, was out to do terrible things to some of the people that she loved. What makes this situation even harder is seeing another one-time team member in Zapata be transferred through the FBI in shackles. What’s the difference between the two?

This is where Weller comes in, as he tries to draw the distinction for Jane that she wasn’t in control of herself when Remi was doing some of the things that she was. He’s going to need to continue to be there for her as an emotional rock through these hard times. Expect to see a lot of this during the episode, but also expect to see a situation in which the two may not have too much time to really spend thinking about all of this. Blindspot is not really the sort of show that leaves a lot of time open for emotional conversations or the like. This is a show that constantly runs a million miles per hour as we get a chance to see characters do everything that they can to make the world a little bit safer. Jane’s a big part of that thanks to her tattoos and this is why it benefits both the FBI and also Jane as a person to get her feeling better and back out in the field.

The sneak preview does give us a small sense that we are on the way to some good things — yet, at the same time it’s also abundantly clear that there is so much more work to be done.
