Chicago PD season 6 episode 11 video: How is Antonio doing?
Chicago PD video! – Be sure to take a look at our most recent video below for some more discussion on what happened to Antonio. Remember that you can also subscribe to CarterMatt on YouTube for some other news and be sure to check out our Chicago PD playlist.
In the preview below, you can see Antonio and Kim talk a little bit about his recovery after his addiction and everything that happened in the fall finale. Voight wants him to take it slow easing his way back onto the force, which makes sense given everything that he’s gone through. It probably makes even more sense when you remember that Ruzek is still in so many ways doing his best to deal with the aftermath of what happened. Hopefully, this episode gives us a sense of Adam’s meeting with COPA, but the preview here isn’t so much about that. Instead, it starts off with Kim telling Antonio that if he ever needs to talk about what happened, she’s there for him.
Beyond that, we also get a good sense here of another key part of the story coming up tonight — one in which Atwater is doing his best to handle an informant in the middle of a case. Unfortunately, it’s not going so well, and in the middle of it Kevin is forced to pull him. That leads to a dangerous situation that you see at the end of this video — the informant clearly wants to go back into the situation, but then out of nowhere someone drives by and fires some bullets into his chest. Halstead stays behind to care for the guy while Atwater does his best to chase down the parties responsible.
Beyond all of this…
Be prepared for tonight’s new episode to dive once more into the issue of policing and politics — which has become an integral part of the entirety of the season so far. After a case that is tied very closely to campaign finance, we’re going to see Intelligence question whether or not they want to still work within this world. If they try to move away from it, that could spell out some important things in regards to the team’s future.
