This Is Us season 3 episode 11 preview: Will Kevin meet Nicky?

Before we say too much else here, let’s start off by resetting where we are at the moment. Following the events of this past episode, we now know with 100% certainty that Jack knew Nicky was alive — he also kept it from at least his kids. Judging from the This Is Us season 3 episode 11 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below, there’s also a good chance that he kept it from Rebecca:
01/22/2019 (09:00PM – 10:01PM) (Tuesday) : Rebecca and the Big Three reckon with secrets Jack kept from them. Jack’s Vietnam story continues to be revealed. TV-14 V
As we work our way through this episode, we have a feeling that there are some more big revelations and secrets that will be unearthed — after all, we are seemingly going back in time to Vietnam and we’re going to take that to mean that there are some more big surprises that are going to be unveiled. Our hope is, at least by the end of this episode, we’ll have a little bit more insight as to why things have played out the way in which they have with Jack and Nicky. It does make visiting him (Songbird Road is a place in Bradford, Pennsylvania) somewhat of a risky endeavor. Yet, at this point we don’t think that Kevin is going to be able to ignore this. Judging from the synopsis alone it’s clear that he has passed along some important information regarding him and we’re curious to see what’s going to happen next.
Just as the title suggests, do not expect any particular closure within this one episode. We’re looking at a two-part saga here and with that in mind, you probably cannot expect answers to some of the story’s greatest mysteries until we make it a little bit further down the road. We’d like to think that the interactions between the Pearsons and Nicky, if they do track him down, are positive, but there is certainly no guarantee of that.
