Legacies episode 8 spoilers: More information on Landon’s past

At the moment, we’re considering episode 8 to be one of the most important ones of the season, and it ultimately has to be when you consider some of the high stakes at the moment. For the characters, there is mounting danger and Landon will be in tough shape. Beyond just that, on a meta sense it is super-important that Legacies as a series gets off to a great start in the new year. After all, what that does is basically guarantee that there will be some more stories down the road.

LANDON’S PAST – After discovering that Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) is in trouble, Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) and Alaric (Matthew Davis) set out in search for him. Along the way, they uncover some startling information about Landon’s past. Nathan Hope directed the episode written by Brett Matthews (#108). Original airdate 1/24/2019.

Is it possible that the information the team discovers could prove essential to understanding Landon’s future? We have to believe so, just as we also have to think at the moment that whatever the team discovers here could also be essential to better understanding the present-day crisis. It’ll tell Hope and Alaric whether or not they can actually trust him and count on him moving forward. Given the history that is already there between Hope and Landon, you really do need to sort out who the guy is given that feelings could eventually end up getting in the way.

There are many more stories that are still coming on the other side of this episode — after all, Legacies episode 8 marks the halfway point of the season! There are a lot of excellent stories coming up on the other side of it, as well.
