Floribama Shore season 2 episode 22 preview: Codi’s parents arrive!

Next week, Floribama Shore season 2 episode 22 is going to arrive and with that, give you a little bit of a family reunion. The title here is “Meet the Buttses,” and that makes some sense given that Codi’s parents are going to be fairly central to the story.

Let’s start here by stating the obvious, based on the events of tonight’s episode: Everyone is going to be making their way back to the house and their familiar hangouts after all of the time that they spent in Cabo. Of course, while everyone is back, that doesn’t mean that they are suddenly going to forget about everything that happened down there. There are some difficult relationship issues that still need addressing, and we don’t think that a change in scenery is necessarily going to make any of those go away.

With that being said, can Codi’s family help to ease the tension a little bit? We have to think so! On paper, it feels a little bit akin to when we end up getting to see Vinny’s family over on Jersey Shore — this is an opportunity in order to showcase some people who clearly care about him on some sort of deep level, and also allow them to showcase some more of his life outside of the show.

The Roommates head back to PCB, but Nilsa still carries a grudge from the drama of their last night in Cabo. So Kortni has to find a special way to say she’s sorry. Codi’s parents make a surprise visit to teach the Beach House crew how to turn it up.

This episode feels like it’s going to be an important one from a character perspective, but it does remain to be seen just how much we get to progress some of the other storylines along the way.

As for the promo that aired tonight…

It showed a multitude of different, rather-crazy things in between a little bit of streaking and then also Codi’s parents being questioned about a number of things from his childhood. As it turns out, he wasn’t exactly the best kid in school growing up. (Wait, are we supposed to be shocked that this guy has a history misbehaving? That’s going to be rather hard to do.)

As a whole, let’s just expect a certain amount of humor within this episode — but also a chance to get to know everyone a little bit better.
