Blindspot season 4 episode 8 preview: Remi’s race against time

What do you think the story is going to be on Blindspot season 4 episode 8? Just based on the early information that’s out there, it may be a direct continuation of what we had tonight! The Remi story still has not reached its full peak as of yet, and it does remain to be seen precisely how it all wraps up. There’s a chance that everything falls apart for her, and there’s also a chance that somehow, someway, we start to see Jane Doe resurface. That’s certainly at the top of our own personal wishlist, given that we would love to see a little bit more of her in action on the show once more. While Remi has certainly presented quite the creative twist to the story, Jane is fundamentally a big part of what makes this show what it is!

(Also, going into the New Year, doesn’t it make sense to have Jane a little bit more around?)

12/07/2018 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Friday) : Remi (Jaimie Alexander) races against the ever-worsening ZIP poisoning to enact her ultimate plan. Also starring Sullivan Stapleton as Kurt Weller, Rob Brown as Edgar Reade, Audrey Esparza as Tasha Zapata, Ashley Johnson as Patterson and Ennis Esmer as Rich DotCom. TV-14 V

This episode should prove to be very much action-packed and exciting, in addition to one where there could be a few jaw-droppers by the end. While NBC may not give you a whole lot to go on, we do think that there is some interesting parallel storytelling going on here. Remi’s got this ultimate goal that she wants to reach; yet, the big source of irony is that the #1 thing that may slow her down from really getting there is herself. She may want to get there but, unfortunately (at least for her), there is no guarantee that she will.

Of course, no matter Remi’s state it’s still hard to imagine a situation in which Blindspot continues and Jaimie Alexander is not a part of it. Given her broad impact on all things related to this series, don’t you have to find a way to keep this character around in one iteration or another?
