Fuller House season 4 trailer: Are DJ, Steve giving things a go?
Let’s kick things off here, first and foremost, with a reminder of where things ended at the end of season 3. Kimmy is pregnant as a surrogate for Stephanie Tanner, and as a result of that, there’s going to be all sorts of great comedy. You’ll see Stephanie do everything she can to helicopter Kimmy throughout the entire process, but also build so much more of a friendship with Kimmy than anything that she ever had before. Kimmy, meanwhile, will adopt to being pregnant in some potentially-funny ways — and so will Fernando, even though he isn’t actually pregnant himself.
As for some other relationships, it seems like DJ and Steve are finally going to give things a go here after so many years and with that, you’ll get to actually see them find out if they are a good match for each other. There will be dates and some other potentially-nostalgic moments along the way. Meanwhile, some of the kids will work on building their own relationships, you’ll see many of the original Full House stars back in the Bay Area, and it seems as though you’re going to get stories inspired by everything from Christmas to American Ninja Warrior. This is a show that likes to go big and broad with much of its comedy and we certainly do imagine that it will do just that here.
So is this going to be the final season of Fuller House? We know that this has been the subject of many reports and rumors over the past few weeks but for now, nothing is confirmed. It’s worth noting at present that Netflix isn’t mentioning that in the trailer and we do think that they will take a good look at whatever the ratings are before making a final decision. If you do want to see Fuller House back for more, our advice is rather simple: Watch early and watch often, and then encourage your friends and family to do the same. Big viewership numbers are really the sort of thing that keeps a series like this going, and the typical trouble that comes with revivals / reboots is that it’s harder to get consistent viewership once you do get to the point where nostalgia starts to fade out a little bit.
