Charmed episode 5 preview: What lies ahead in ‘Other Women’
Basically, we consider life for all of these characters to be a work in progress — some of these characters (take Maggie, for example) are going to want to ensure that they can have what little shred of normalcy that they can. With that, we foresee it being a main influencing factor in some of their decision making.
Below, the Charmed episode 5 synopsis via The CW offers up a little bit more information when it comes to what’s ahead:
GUILT – Mel (Melonie Diaz) is worried about Niko’s (Ellen Tamaki) safety, so Mel and Harry (Rupert Evans) come up with a plan to protect her, but Mel will need her sisters’ help. Maggie (Sarah Jeffery) notices that Macy (Madeleine Mantock) is upset about her situation with Galvin (Ser’Darius Blain), so she offers to do some recon with her, but they discover that things might not be exactly what they seem. Meanwhile, Maggie’s sorority sister Lucy (guest star Natalie Hall) turns to her for some help, but Maggie struggles with telling her the truth because it could jeopardize her sorority future. Amyn Kaderali directed the episode written by George Northy (#105). Original airdate 11/11/2018.
One of the things that we do hope Charmed remembers is that through all of these crises our heroes face, they have a little bit of fun along the way. This is a show that, at its core, should feel reasonably lighthearted. That’s going to make it comforting and, in turn, keep people watching longer.
