Supergirl season 4 episode 4 video: Brainy cries over Supergirl dilemma

In the new video below (via TVLine), you can see Brainy try to wrestle with the idea that Supergirl may have to spend the remainder of her life trapped within a suit designed for her to not breathe in Kryptonite. The presence of it in the atmosphere now was a deliberate move by Mercy Graves to stop her and, at least for now, it’s working. Kara is still going to be able to do some of what she does … or at least she will within reason. One of the things that is seemingly going to hold her back is the ever-changing sentiment towards heroes within National City.
Do you remember when Supergirl was loved and revered? Those were the days. Now, we’re moving closer to an era where the sentiment towards some of these people is a little bit more unfavorable and that’s something that all aliens are going to have to contend with … and it’s probably going to get worse long before it ever starts to get better. Agent Liberty already has now a foothold on National City and we imagine that, as this story progresses, we’re simply going to see the world start to become even more violent and chaotic. This is what Agent Liberty wants, but what we don’t understand with him is simply this: What is the endgame here? Is he simply hoping to create a world in which everyone is full of hate and angry all the time? If so, that’s the road in which this story seems to be going.
