Shadowhunters stars Katherine McNamara, Alberto Rosende speak at MCM Comic-Con

For those of you who love Shadowhunters and are also located in the UK, today turned out to be a rather-great day.

Today while at MCM Comic Con, Katherine McNamara, Emeraude Toubia, Chai Hansen, Jade Hassoune, and Alberto Rosende all took part in a number of different festivities, including meeting fans, talking about the show, and also filming a couple videos for the London convention’s official Twitter page (see below). In one video, McNamara talks about some of the cosplay that she likes to see at conventions; meanwhile, Rosende in the other talks about why he loves to be at the convention. These are fun little clips that showcase the actors’ personalities — and yes, it does make us miss the series as much as we have for quite some time.

There was also a panel earlier today, and while there some of the cast did their best to tease the excitement and emotion that went into filming the final season 3 episodes. Because they all went into them knowing that they could be the end of the series, this allowed for a sense of perspective and understanding they may not have had otherwise. It allows you to take in every moment and cherish some of the time you have with those around you. It’s hard to replicate that experience away from production, even if the cast does get to reunite here and there for conventions like this one.

Unfortunately, nobody knows as of yet precisely when the final stretch of season 3 will air on Freeform (save for at some point next year) but we’re sure that the cast put their all into it. We’d be shocked if there is not some sort of trailer out there by the end of the year … but let’s be honest: We’ve been shocked before in a bad way when it comes to Shadowhunters news this year. Rest assured that we’ll have more news the moment that it comes out.
