One of the large questions that you have to wonder is simply this: Is it really possible for Deeks, or really anyone, to make it clear that she was undercover during a drug bust? In the sneak peek below, this is something that Eric Christian Olsen’s character tries to do. Unfortunately, we’re not altogether sure that he is successful in doing so. We do think that this is going to be a tough case to resolve.
Now, one of the other questions you have to wonder is this: Is this tied somehow to Callen going undercover as an attorney? That’s at least one thing to look out for in what may be at times a fun episode. We do need some of that given that there’s been some dark stuff this season. There’s also going to be a big Callen story with Anna back in the picture in the wake of what happened last season. Her status with the ATF is in danger, but more than that, her entire future could be depending on some of the things that are coming up next.
Let’s just hope that as this episode goes along, we get some answers here — there are certainly enough other hanging chads to keep us satisfied. Take, for example, the aforementioned Hetty.
