NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 5 video: Callen’s a lawyer
In the video below, you can see Callen doing what he can to flex his muscles in his new “profession” … which really isn’t an actual job. He’s going undercover as a lawyer in a new gig, and that’s going to prove to be entertaining. We’re sure that Callen did a good bit of research going into the job, but there’s a difference between studying up on something and then actually going out into the field and figuring out whether or not you can actually do it. As the character is going to find out, this is so much harder than it seemed. He’s just not doing an altogether-great job at being believable here … at least in the part of the promo that we see.
Yet, here’s the thing with most characters within the NCIS: Los Angeles world. It’s not about how you start so much as how you finish. Even if Callen never really gets his footing as an attorney, we feel like he’s still going to find a way in order to get the job done.
For those of you who don’t think that this is enough story for Callen this week, also remember this: You’re going to see Bar Paly return to the show in this episode in the role of Anna as we find out what’s next for her following what happened with Sokolov last season. While we know that Callen was warned against spending time with her, since when has he actually listened? Here’s the answer — not often, and barely at all. This is a guy who often decides instead to make his own path and he’ll probably try to do that here.
