Supernatural season 14 episode 4 may be a Halloween special

Supernatural season 14 episode 4 is airing on November 1, so it may be one day late on celebrating Halloween. Yet, at the same time this show is going to do its best to bring about some of the familiar themes that go along with October 31. The title here is “Mint Condition,” but it’s hard to know what that’s a reference to — after all, the Winchesters still have all sorts of bumps and bruises. Heck, it’s not entirely clear what is going on when it comes to Dean/Michael, who seemed to be reverting back to Dean at the end of this past episode. (Whether or not that lasts remains to be seen.)

So what’s exactly going to happen in this episode? We think that the Supernatural season 14 episode 4 synopsis gives you a pretty good idea of what you can see:

HALLOWEEN HORROR – Dean (Jensen Ackles) continues to struggle. Meanwhile, Sam (Jared Padalecki) must think fast when action figures come to life, and our heroes find themselves living in a real-life horror movie. Clearly, The CW is not altogether keen on sharing a lot of information about this episode in advance, including if there is some good stuff coming when it comes to either Castiel or Jack. Sometimes, less is more when it comes to episode descriptions. We’re eager to see if there are some surprises hiding around the corner in this episode, or if we are just going to get some sort of standalone hour here. We’re totally okay if that happens, mostly because we like holiday-themed Supernatural episodes to be ones that you can come back and watch down the road without too much in the way of context. That adds to the mystique of what makes this show what it is.
