Last Man Standing season 7 episode 6 spoilers: Castle alum to guest

When Last Man Standing season 7 episode 6 airs on Fox come November 9, you’re going to get a chance to see some fun stuff. To be specific, you’re going to get a chance to see Vanessa’s mother! Castle alum Susan Sullivan is going to come on board as the character, and is it turns out, the circumstances of her appearance will prove to be pretty darn fun. (Let’s just say that it’s going to give Ed a little bit of fun material to work with. After all, the title for this episode is “The Courtship of Vanessa’s Mother.” That tells you a good bit of what you need to know.)

Vanessa’s mother comes to visit and hits it off with Ed… a little too well. Meanwhile, Mandy and Kyle tutor Boyd, but they may be the ones getting outsmarted in the all-new “The Courtship of Vanessa’s Mother” episode of LAST MAN STANDING airing Friday, Nov. 9 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. This episode does satisfy something that we are hoping to see for most of the season: Getting opportunities for every supporting character on the show to shine. Maybe this one is a big Ed storyline, with also some fun stuff for Mandy, Kyle, and Boyd, at the same time. Maybe we’ll get some other characters in the spotlight for some others. The best seasons of Last Man Standing have been the ones where there’s a constant mix of character stories … and of course plenty of laughter. This is, after all, a comedy based on drawing laughs more so than just about anything else.

Beyond the story of this episode, let’s just hope that the popularity of the show continues moving forward to into this hour.
