Ray Donovan season 6 teaser: What does Ray do now?
At the end of this past season, the journey for Ray began to New York, and while there, it’s clear that he will require a new lease on life. This is a character in the midst of one of his lowest points trying to figure out how to succeed again. He’s lost so much of what he loves, including his wife, and he’s also got to figure out how to make things work for him in a new city.
Well, he does still have one pretty-significant thing going for him in that he is pretty darn exceptional at his job. Nobody out there fixes problems quite like he does, and there are going to be plenty of people in the Big Apple in need of his help. One of the most-important people is going to inevitably be Sam Winslow, who we certainly know well already from this past season. Any chance that Ray Donovan can bring on Susan Sarandon is one that they should celebrate, and we’re very much thrilled that she is sticking around. Beyond that, though, we know that there are some other familiar faces who are out there, but not every one of them is going to be particularly advantageous to Ray. Take, for example, Mickey — we are pretty well convinced at this point that there is zero good that ever comes from this guy being around — even when he does end up being helpful, there’s so much blowback that comes along with it.
Hopefully, over the next couple of weeks we’ll have a chance to get a little more Ray Donovan news in preparation for whatever is going to lie ahead.
