NCIS season 16 episode 2 preview: A story of strange neighbors
To be specific, this is a story that is all about the murder or a prominent Navy officer in a place that’s going to be so much more unusual than it appears on the surface. This is an episode that could introduce you to some very strange characters, and also challenge the team since not everyone may be altogether game to talk about what’s been going on around them.

Oh, and there’s some very-different (but very-fun) stuff coming up for Palmer and Torres as well. CarterMatt has for you below the full NCIS season 16 episode 2 synopsis, and it at least gives you a small sense of what you can expect to see:
“Love Thy Neighbor” – After a Navy lieutenant is found murdered in his hot tub, the team interviews several families in the victim’s peculiar neighborhood. Also, Torres must face the consequences after a volatile night out with Palmer, on NCIS, Tuesday, Oct. 2 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
The story of Palmer and Torres may have been teased recently in a behind-the-scenes image that seemed to show the two characters in prison together. We do wonder if they got themselves really drunk, or if things are a little bit different than they appear on the surface. No matter, this should be fun — getting to see Palmer and Torres together is a fun pairing in our eyes, mostly because these are two guys who work in different places in NCIS and are a little bit of an odd couple. Yet, that is a part of what makes watching them so entertaining.
