The Vampire Lestat season 3 episode 3: Louis, Gabriella tension?
As we do prepare to see The Vampire Lestat season 3 episode 3 on AMC, we do think there are a number of stories worth following. The title character is going to continue his rock-star tour but beyond just that, we are also going to be seeing Louis potentially enact his vengeance on Bruce, the person responsible for horrific abuse towards Claudia.
But what about Gabriella? She has been clearly included as a significant part of the story at this point and within that, we do think she is going to do what she can now to establish some sort of link to her son / maker. We know that Louis has not been privy to a lot when it comes to this relationship, and there may be an underlying tension that is explored more and more over time.

Speaking to TV Insider, here is some of what Jennifer Ehle herself had to say about the dynamic that does presently exist between Louis and Gabriella, even without them spending much time together:
“He definitely is a threat … She worries. She knows he has hurt Lestat and that he’s really the only other person besides her that has the capacity to hurt him emotionally, so she has that as somebody who cares about him, but he also threatens her power over Lestat enormously.”
We do not think that this is a storyline that is going to have some sort of quick resolution to it. After all, Gabriella likely understands Louis’ importance to Lestat and if she does something towards him, that could create a ripple effect that causes more problems for her own relationship.
