The 100 season 6 spoilers: Teen Wolf alum JR Bourne to play key role
According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, Bourne (who played Argent on the MTV series) is going to be recurring on the CW series as Russell, a guy currently described as “a charismatic leader, a visionary and pioneer who will face the difficult moral choices emblematic of the hard-hitting show.”
Despite the chaos that often surrounds characters within this world, apparently Russell rules over a society that is by and large peaceful. He’s found a way to make things work for him — as for how he’s done that, though, that remains to be seen. He and Clarke will eventually meet in season 6 and from there, they will have what is described as a “complicated relationship.” Take from that whatever you will. There are still many questions that you should wonder about this character, including whether or not he will eventually be a hero or a villain.

Unfortunately, you’re going to be waiting a rather long time in order to get some answers. The 100 is the sort of show that The CW always put on extremely-long hiatuses, and it’s currently in the midst of one. The sixth season is currently slated to premiere at some point in 2019, and at the moment, there is no word as to whether or not it will be the final season. We do think that with the way that season 5 ended, there is certainly still plenty more story to be told — it just depends on how long the creative team wants to continue to keep it going, and also how strong some of the ratings are.
At least with Bourne, we know that the series is getting an actor who has excelled in genre fare in the past. He should be more than capable of taking on just about anything.
