Salvation season 2 episode 13 (finale) video: Hoping to save the world

As we start to approach Salvation season 2 episode 13, there is not going to be a lot of hope left.

If you want to start sweating over how this season could conclude, we think that the easiest way to do so is by reading the attached synopsis:

“One last mystery holds the key to saving the world, and Grace must choose how she spends her final days.”

Nervous yet? You probably should be, as this episode is going to feature what is many characters seemingly at the brink of the end of the world. They are going to be doing just about everything that they can in order to ensure that the Earth is saved, but there are going to be many who scramble and many who feel trapped. Darius may be feeling a little bit of hope.

The unfortunate news for many of the characters at the moment is that even now, the story is not out of twists and it feels like the second sneak peek below is reflective of that.

Are we nearing the end of the show?

We wish we could say that we’re confident Salvation could be coming back, but the reality here is that we’re not. If the numbers continue at their current trajectory, it’s hard to really envision a way in which the series comes back for another season — which is a dire shame, given that the summer does deserve having at least a rather unique away of scripted network shows.

While we can certainly hope a miracle that brings the series back for more, our advice at the moment is rather simple: Expect the worst, but be prepared to enjoy this finale. If this is the last episode of the series, why not enjoy it to you heart’s content?
