“Love Thy Neighbor” – After a Navy lieutenant is found murdered in his hot tub, the team interviews several families in the victim’s peculiar neighborhood. Also, Torres must face the consequences after a volatile night out with Palmer, on NCIS, Tuesday, Oct. 2 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
This is an episode that feels interesting for two major reasons.
1. Murder in suburbia – The title here seems to be a reference to whatever neighborhood this particular lieutenant lived in. It’s possible that this is some sort of weird, Stepford Wives community that is very hard for people like Gibbs and McGee to infiltrate. The community may not be altogether kind to strangers, and with this in mind, we wouldn’t be shocked if it took them a little bit of time in order to figure out the right way to both infiltrate and speak with some of these people.
2. What happened with Nick and Palmer? – It’s probably comedic on some level, but we wonder if there is some sort of personal reveal that happened while they were out. Take, for example, Torres potentially mentioning having feelings for Bishop. Wouldn’t that be the sort of thing that alters perceptions and changes the team on some level? We already know that this season will be touching on they’ve already been building with the Torres and Bishop relationship, so anything is possible.
