Salvation season 2 finale: Get ready for … ‘Get Ready’

The Salvation season 2 finale is coming up on CBS in just one week’s time and in unsurprising fashion, there isn’t all that much the network is giving away in advance.

What that being said though, what more do they really need to give away here? We would argue not much given that this is going to be a heck of an emotional conclusion and you likely know that in advance. No synopsis is going to convince you of that and giving away too much is going to take away from what they have in store for us.

The title here is “Get Ready,” and when you think about this series and the crisis that is at the center of it, it’s easy to see that and have some really strong opinions as to what’s coming up. How could you not? This is a show that has threatened the end of the world from the very beginning.

Of course, if you are a fan of Salvation, this is also the sort of title that should make you very much worried about one thing: The sort of hair pulling cliffhanger that may lie around the corner, given that there is a very good chance that there’s going to be one. This is a show that loves to keep you on the edge of your seat, but the problem in this particular instance is that the ratings are not exactly great (far from it, actually), and there is a real fear that this show is going to end without some sort of satisfying conclusion.

Ultimately, we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. For now, we just recommend that you check this episode out live next week since the ratings bump is really the best way to ensure that the show is able to come back down the road.
