Supergirl season 4 reportedly casting another Kryptonian for crossover
Per a new report coming in now via That Hashtag Show, the series is currently casting an actor of any ethnicity in his forties for a role described as “Lon-El,” which is probably just code for some other part. The site speculates that this could be Jor-El, or also potentially the Earth-2 version of Superman in Val-Zod. There are some possible candidates here, but there is a chance that this actor could appear behind the crossover as well in some other recurring role.

As for some other casting news, apparently The CW is also in the process of casting a character supposedly named Dr. Elias Kern, who could appear throughout the crossover. This character is described as a “brutal sociopath” with declining mental health, and it is possible that they are one of the major adversaries that we’re going to see over the course of this event.
We’re hoping at the moment that this crossover is mostly character-focused, with us getting plenty of time in order to properly get to know Batwoman and see how some of the other characters relate to her. The one fear that we have with so many different characters being introduced is that it sets up a situation where there is not enough time to actually get to know everyone and with that, everyone feels somewhat shortchanged … even though this is a three-hour crossover with a lot of time for story.
