Power season 5 episode 9 preview: What’s next for Ghost and Tommy?
Ultimately, it’s not all too hard to figure out why that would be the case. Ghost is in need of allies right now given that he’s far from out of the weeds with everything that’s been stewing around him. While trying to frame Dre and pinning Ray Ray’s death on Kanan are important pieces to the puzzle, nothing is complete just yet.
For starters, it’s clear that there are some issues that still need to be worked out with Tommy. For starters, Tommy may certainly think that Ghost had something to do with Kanan’s death. He may claim otherwise (and he’s telling the truth), but whether or not that really matters to Tommy remains to be seen. You can see in the sneak peek here that he is still questioning it, and that is just more fuel to a massive fire that has been burning for some time. They’ve just got so much water under the bridge at this point, and there have been so many times that Ghost has either withheld information or straight-up laid to his longtime friend.

On Sunday’s episode, things are going to get even more intense with the two over Teresi and the idea that he may be a snitch — something that could lead to some difficult decisions and some shocking moves. There is some really unforgettable stuff that is going to happen and all of it will lead to the finale. Remember here that as trouble swirls around Ghost, even more could hover over Angela based on some of what Joe Proctor said at the end of this past episode. The prosecutors have been eager to take her down for some time.
