NCIS: New Orleans season 5 filming nears 100th episode
In a new post on Twitter, Chad Gomez Creasey confirmed that the CBS show just wrapped the fourth episode of season 5, which is one directed by none other than LeVar Burton. The former Star Trek: The Next Generation star has taken on this role in the past with this series, and has connections with Scott Bakula dating back for many years.

Episode 5×04 (provided that the series is filming episodes in order) just so happens to also be the 99th episode of the series. That means that we’re getting super-close now to the big milestone episode, which is likely airing in either late October or early November. With this being the 100th episode, the easy assumption to make here is that this is going to be a hugely significant one and a chance to really commemorate the journey that has gotten us to this point in the series.
We’re hoping that there are many notable appearances from people who have been a part of the series the past few years for this milestone episode and to go along with that, we’re also hoping that there will be a story that is especially intense. The NCIS franchise has done some really great milestone episodes over the years, and this is the first time that NCIS: New Orleans has really had a chance to do a story of this magnitude. It’s been a great run for the CBS drama; even if it hasn’t had the press of some other shows on major networks, it has performed very well in the ratings and also has the potential to easily run for another hundred episodes without a problem.
The premiere of NCIS: New Orleans season 5 will air on CBS come September 25, and at the center of that one is going to be the path to save Pride. You can read more about that over at the link here.
