The Blacklist season 6: Five things we know about what lies ahead

As we start to move into The Blacklist season 6, what are five different things that we know about what lies ahead? That is the primary focus of this particular story!

We’ve got for you below both in article and video form (be sure to subscribe to get some more updates) a handy list of five different things that you can expect to see in the story coming up. There is a lot of exciting story to tell, but beyond just that, there are also important things to know about everything from the episode count to also when it could be coming on the air.

1. The premiere is in 2019 – Because of the way that NBC has arranged their fall schedule, you’re not going to get a chance, unfortunately, to see Reddington back in action until we get around to January, most likely.

2. There will still be 22 episodes – We know it may seem impossible for NBC to jam in that many episodes in such a short period of time, but remember that Fox used to do this with 24 all the time. With potentially some two-hour programming blocks thrown in, this is more than possible.

3. You will see Liz working with the FBI – We’ve seen some photos of Megan Boone alongside Diego Klattenhoff over the past few weeks, and that makes us wonder whether or not Liz and Ressler are going to have a larger role in the story together. That would give the show a few more echoes of the earlier seasons.

4. It will obviously address the big cliffhanger – We know now that the Raymond Reddington we’ve been coming to know is not the actual Raymond Reddington. With that in mind, there are some serious questions about who this imposter could be and why.

5. There are no plans for this to be the final season – That’s at least the case for the time being. Hopefully, if it is announced in the future, they give the writers the time to tie together a lot of the major loose ends.
