Claws season 3 premiere date hopes for Niecy Nash, cast
Let’s start things off here with this reminder: There is a Claws season 3 coming up in the future. This was confirmed earlier this year, not that it is really any surprise to anyone. Claws is one of the most-consistent shows insofar as performance goes out of any on television. For a good example, of this, just look at how the series fared over the course of season 2. It was down less than 5% in both the 18-49 demographic and also total viewers versus season 1. For any show in this era where fewer and fewer people are interested in watching television live, any show that can retain more than 85% of its audience year-to-year is a big winner. For Claws to retain more than 95% makes it a bonafide smash.
As to precisely what the series is doing in order to remain much of its performance, we do think that a lot of it starts with the quality of the show — if you deliver a great product that people want to continue watching, you don’t really have to worry so much about anything else.
Yet, with this being said, we do also think that the show has also been able to retain much of its viewership in part because of its social-media clout. Claws is a series that viewers love to discuss and it creates an interactive environment whenever it is on the air. Cast members live tweet alongside fans and it gives everyone a further incentive to watch live — they don’t want to miss the experience of checking out the show as it happens.
While there is no official Claws season 3 premiere date at the moment, all signs point towards it coming back on the air in the summer. Given how well the show has performed here in this timeslot over time, there’s no reason to think that they are going to change this in the near future.
