Good Trouble: Troian Bellisario to direct episode of Fosters spin-off
Earlier this week, the series starring Cierra Ramirez and Maia Mitchell confirmed the good news. This means that she will probably be spending the next couple of weeks filming this particular episode, and then after that there is some additional work to be done — including editing and doing everything else to ensure that the episode is polished and perfect.
While the title for this episode is not clear on the script page, Bellisario’s IMDb page makes it clear that the installment is entitled “Swipe Right.” That’s obviously a reference to dating apps, which suggests to us that, in some form or another, this could be a theme for the upcoming installment.
This is not the first time in which Troian has stepped into the director’s chair for a Freeform show — as a matter of fact, it is the third time! In addition to previously taking on this role for Pretty Little Liars, she also directed an episode of Famous in Love earlier this year. These opportunities give her a chance to stay linked to the network that helped to showcase her talent to the world, but also allow her a chance to expand her skill set so that there are opportunities for there to do even more things moving into the future.
Alas, Good Trouble is not going to be premiering until we get around to 2019. We’ll have more news the moment that it’s out there to share!
