NCIS: New Orleans season 5: Patton will continue to have large role
According to a new report coming in right now via TVLine, you will continue to see Mitchell play the part of Patton through the upcoming fifth season of NCIS: New Orleans. Because of the timing of Fear the Walking Dead filming, he was able to do both shows without any sort of problem — at least for the time being. That’s good both for Mitchell, who get an opportunity to flex some different acting muscles, but also great for both shows, as well.
Within the lens of NCIS: New Orleans, it certainly goes without saying that this is a program that cannot afford to lose too many other performers from its main cast, mostly due to the fact that they just lost Shalita Grant last season and they don’t need any more turnover. Also, Patton is one of the biggest unsung heroes with this show in that without his technical know-how, the team would struggle significantly with many of their cases. He doesn’t necessarily generate the most headlines, but he is one of the most important people within the crew.
New episodes of NCIS: New Orleans is going to start airing on CBS come Tuesday, September 25. New episodes are currently in production, and it is going to stay that way from now until spring. The first order of business here remains fairly obvious: Trying to unravel the huge cliffhanger involving Pride’s shooting that happened at the end of season 4. On the other side of this, the team can move forward and do some more of what they do best — solve cases. We don’t foresee the series changing too much now given that what they’ve done every season to date has turned out to be rather successful.
