Bull season 3: Who would be the ideal Cable replacement?
When it comes to finding the right replacement for Cable, we have a feeling that it’s going to be a little bit more of the latter. We know about the character’s exit, just as we’ve also had an opportunity to see what the TAC is like without her in season 2. Suffice it to say, it didn’t run anywhere near as smoothly and they could benefit from finding someone to help out sooner rather than later.
So who would be the perfect candidate to fill the void left by Cable’s departure? They need someone who comes bearing a different perspective. They don’t have to necessarily be younger than all of the other characters like Cable was, but they do need to have an expertise in the field of tech and someone who recognizes how hackers and tech pioneers work. They can be someone who has left a job at some big corporate firm, someone working on their second career, or even a college prodigy who is just diving into their first job.
Personality-wise, it also benefits Bull to find someone who also brings a different energy — maybe they’ll challenge Bull on occasion, but largely for the sake of the greater good and not just to stir the pot. Whoever it is, a part of what will make them interesting is that there was almost a father-daughter relationship that was there between Bull and Cable. It’s rather hard to envision him having a relationship with a newcomer that is somewhat similar to what he had with Cable, so we are going to see a brand new dynamic!
No matter who it is, we imagine that there are going to be some answers coming in the early going on Bull season 3. The show is going to be airing new episodes this fall on CBS in a new timeslot Monday nights at 10:00 p.m. Eastern.
