NCIS: New Orleans season 5: When is LeVar Burton directing again?
In a post on Twitter (which CarterMatt has for you below), Burton himself confirmed the news that he will be turning up come August 8 in order to kick off filming for this episode. Burton says that he is directing episode #504, at least in terms of the production order. Sometimes episodes are filmed out of order, so keep that in mind.
If this is the fourth episode to air, what that means is that it will be the 99th episode of the series. Had every season of NCIS: New Orleans to date had been 24 episodes, this actually would’ve been the 100th episode this time around. Wouldn’t that have been fun to have LeVar direct it? He actually already has a 100th episode under his belt in “Timeless,” which is the 100th episode of Star Trek: Voyager.
Remember that NCIS: New Orleans is going to be premiering once more on Tuesdays this fall, and it is going to air as a part of a lineup that also includes NCIS proper as well as the new Dick Wolf series FBI. These three shows should make a formidable lineup for all you crime TV buffs out there like us! When it comes to this show in particular, the first order of business is definitely going to be unraveling the shocking cliffhanger at the end of this past season, where Pride was left in a pool of his own blood after getting shot. It’s hard to imagine Scott Bakula leaving the show, but with his survival could come consequences.
