Fuller House season 4: Should that Family Matters crossover happen?

Fuller House

Fuller House season 4 is currently in the midst of production, and we know that with that, there are many things that people will want to see. This is a series that is based mostly on nostalgia and because of that, there’s always going to be a thirst for even more of it.

With that in mind, let’s dive back into the Family Matters of it all. If you recall, the end of this past season raised the question as to whether or not Steve Urkel could return to the world. After all, there was a crossover with Family Matters back during the run of the original Full House and because of that, there’s always a chance that a cameo could happen again.

As for whether or not it could, it really feels like much of that is going to be up to the team over at Family Matters to sign off on it and then also Jaleel White being okay with doing the character again. Understandably, he is very protective over the part given that he was such an iconic character for so many years. Yet, at the same time we do understand why there could be appeal in seeing him again, mostly as a gift to longtime fans and a way to take everyone back to a happier, more innocent time. This is one of the appeals for Fuller House in particular — it’s light, funny, and nostalgic. There are quite a few people out there who probably appreciate this opportunity to just sit down, relax, and get away from the world. Urkel would bring back a heck of a lot of fond memories.

At the moment, Fuller House is a significant chunk into the season; to date, we haven’t heard anything about an Urkel cameo. With that being said, though, we have a feeling if that happened that the show would do almost everything that it could in order to keep it a secret. The last thing that they would want is for this to get out at some point ahead of time.
