When does Bosch season 5 start filming? Early timeline
In the post below via author Michael Connelly, you get a sense that filming is going to start in late July. Also, you get a good sense as to where at least part of the season is going to film — and it’s going to be a scorcher. Everyone is heading down to the Salton Sea region of California, which is a particularly arid place that is full of some rather curious scenery. The more Bosch plays around here, the more interesting the show will be.
As for how long Bosch is going to film, think the bulk of the rest of the year. There needs to be enough time to take on the wide array of different sequences, but the show also needs to wrap filming in time for season 5 to premiere in the spring. We don’t exactly think that the Titus Welliver series is going to move its start date all that much, mostly because this is the time that works for this show. With that in mind, why would Amazon really want to move it? We certainly don’t think that they would. This show is one of Amazon’s flagship hits and because of that, we could see Bosch sticking around however long the streaming service wants it to.
Of course, we’re hoping that once season 5 actually starts filming, we’re going to have opportunities to discuss casting news and a whole lot more.
