Nashville season 6 episode 14 video: Maddie and the truth about Jonah

On Nashville season 6 episode 14 airing on CMT Thursday night, it appears as though Maddie is finally going to get some more information about Jonah. To be specific, it looks as though she is going to learn the truth in regards to his cheating … and also determine precisely what it is that she wants to do from there.

The promo below offers up a small sense as to what you can expect, and we do like to think that it is enough to make us a little bit more intrigued as to how she will react. We like to think that it will be just as simple as her breaking up with him, largely because she was, in some way, warned earlier this season.

We do feel for Maddie just because it feels like she’s a victim of something that a lot of young people go through: Trusting the wrong person and thinking that they are being genuine when they aren’t. Jonah is incredibly successful, which in turn means that he can do anything he wants and ultimately be with anyone he wants.

Unfortunately, it feels like one of the central themes in general on Nashville this season when it comes to the younger cast members is them having to learn the hard way that there are some nasty people in this business who will take advantage of them at just about any chance that they can. Daphne is experiencing this with her foray in reality TV, and clearly we are seeing Maddie go through this as she continues her quest to find some element of stardom both on her own and in a relationship.
