Poldark season 4 episode 5 video: Ross fights, but so do others

Poldark season 4 episode 3

The first Poldark season 4 episode 5 promo has surfaced online, and while it doesn’t give a whole lot away it does draw another distinction between life and London and also life back in Cornwall. (Warning: Spoilers ahead for American readers.)

For Ross, he is going from being on the front lines to having to fight from afar — but he is certainly still fighting, especially with his goal of trying to ensure that the plight of the needy and poor is heard. While it may not be something that every single person in Parliament agrees with or wants, it’s clearly still something that he is advocating for. Poldark wants to be a hero for the common man and nothing seems to be deterring him from this goal. It’s another sign of his strength, but London is another sign of how far he still has to go.

There are some other problems going on in the city, with one of the biggest questions being if Caroline is looking towards the city as a way to numb all of her emotions when it comes to losing her baby. She’s spending time with other people, and while the preview makes it seem as though she could cheat on Dwight, we’re not altogether sure that this is going to actually happen. This could just be one of those cases where we are set up to believe something that doesn’t actually happen.

Elsewhere, we’ve got more questions regarding Ossie and what his next move is going to be to remove Morwenna from his life. We’re still worried about her, and Dwight not signing off on her being institutionalized fails to change that. He’s not the sort who is going to stop until he gets what he wants, and our only hope is that his stubbornness / awfulness ends up leading to his eventual undoing, no matter how long it takes to get to that point.
