The Flash season 5, Legends of Tomorrow season 4 prepare for filming
While we’re hesitate at times to nail down exact dates, just know this: By the end of this week, all three of these series are going to be back at work on new episodes in Vancouver. Supergirl will start a little bit later, but that show has a rather-interesting challenge in that Melissa Benoist is going to be performing on Broadway through the end of the month. Either Kara is going to be missing in action at the start of the season, or the producers are just going to get super-creative filming episodes and scenes out of sequence there.
By and large, we’ve learned a good bit about promotions for some of these shows throughout the summer, including that Jessica Parker Kennedy and Danielle Nicolet are promoted on The Flash while we will see more of Courtney Ford, Matt Ryan, and Jes Macallan on Legends of Tomorrow. Colton Haynes is now set to be a regular on Arrow, and with Supergirl Jeremy Jordan is set to recur as opposed to appearing full-time. There are some new characters who have yet to be officially cast across some of these shows, but that information will come out in due time.
Being a part of the Arrowverse is hopefully a very fun and rewarding ride, largely because it can also be a rather time-consuming one. Filming starts on these shows this month and runs through at least the middle of April for the ones with the longer episode orders. They get a break of just over a couple of months, but may choose to do some conventions within that span of time before eventually finding their way back to work down the road.
