Poldark season 4 episode 5 preview: Ross versus George, again
Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen the BBC be rather willing to give us a lot of details regarding some upcoming stories; however, they are not necessarily doing that here. Instead, the Poldark season 4 episode 5 synopsis below mostly hints at trouble for Ross and Demelza both in Cornwall and outside of it:
George increases the strain on the struggling poor, driving Ross to make a risky gambit. The adversity the Poldarks face, however, may not be confined to Cornwall alone.
This is the problem that does come with Ross’ new position: There are so many more stresses put upon him than ever before and he has to be prepared for the ramifications of some of his decisions. The reality that he’s facing now is that he is operating within a place where he doesn’t have a lot of experience. While being somewhat green in Parliament may have its advantages — you really are one of the people as opposed to someone who isn’t altogether interested in their everyday needs — you’re also going to be outnumbered on many key decisions. Also, some other members of Parliament probably are not going to be altogether pleased with you doing things that could potentially stand them up in some situations. Just consider that something else that you have to prepare to deal with.
What Poldark season 4 episode 5 also represents is making it to a new threshold of the series. We are now entering formally the second half of the season, which is where we anticipate there could be some fairly dramatic changes for most of the characters. There’s also a good chance that we’re going to be building towards a few more surprises along the way.
