Take Two episode 3 preview: Sam flashes back to her party days

Moving into Take Two episode 3 airing on ABC in just one week’s time, we know now what the setup for the series is going to be for the immediate future. Sam is basically forced now to work with Eddie for the next six months — it’s either that or end up in prison, which she certainly doesn’t want. While the two may have a rocky relationship at times, there is also an understanding here that they work well today. That may be enough inspiration to keep the two working together in the near future, and along the way, who knows? Maybe they form a real friendship. For now, Sam does actually seem to be enjoying the job, and for Eddie, he at least recognizes that there are financial benefits to working with someone who has a devoted following. She can, in turn, bring in some more clients.

Below, the Take Two episode 3 synopsis offers up some more news when it comes to what lies ahead — let’s just say that Sam’s past could be important to this case. The same goes for a longtime rival of Eddie:

When a popular nightclub owner and one of Eddie’s old nemeses hires Eddie and Sam to track down his club’s missing DJ, Eddie balks. Meanwhile, Sam remembers her party days at the club and clashes with Eddie over the case. As they dig deeper, Sam and Eddie learn that the missing young man was kidnapped and soon realize his abduction may be part of a plan to ignite a mob war that only they can stop.

One of the fun things about Take Two as a series is that it seems like where each case starts is a far cry from where it ends — there are continuously a number of surprises that we end up getting a chance to see! Hopefully, this is a trend that we continue to see play out over the course of the coming weeks.
